Wai Ying : Lemon Chicken Rice

Lemon Goodness!
Where to Buy : Wai Ying Restaurant
Price : P130

When you look at Wai Ying's Menu, you will have a hard time looking for their lemon chicken rice ( confusing menu ), before I didn't even know that they have this, but good thing I asked the waiter about it and the rest is history.

Wai Ying's lemon chicken rice is breaded chicken, they serve the lemon sauce separate from the chicken so you have more controlling power on how much lemon sauce you want. The chicken is crunchy and perfect with the lemon sauce. =D

Wai Ying : Steamed Wanton

Where to Buy : Wai Ying Restaurant
Price : P130

I prefer Wai Ying's Steamed Wanton compared to the oily Fried Wanton! It's less oily and it tastes so much better, this is not on their menu but you could request to have the Fried Wanton be steamed instead. Good for sharing or you could just eat it alone. =D

Wai Ying : Fried Wanton

Crunchy! Yummy! =D
Where to Buy : Wai Ying Restaurant
Price : P130

Wai Ying's Fried Wanton is a great side order to share with your friends, this comes in 12 pieces of deep fried wanton and sweet and sour sauce to make things a little bit fun. Before you can enjoy these wanton you have to get past first the thick crunchy breading.

* you can also request the steamed wanton if you don't like fried.

Wai Ying : Fish Fillet Rice in White Sauce

Where to Buy : Wai Ying Restaurant
Price : P120

Fish Fillet Rice in White Sauce is like their Sweet and Sour Fish Fillet Rice, the only difference is the sauce, here they use the white sauce with corn ( I'ts like Fish Ala King ). I like this better than the sweet and sour of Wai Ying, the fish taste better with the white sauce.

Wai Ying : Sweet and Sour Fish Fillet Rice

Sweet and Sour Fish Fillet with pineapples
Where to Buy : Wai Ying Restaurant
Price : P120

I don't like Wai Ying's Sweet and Sour Fish Fillet mainly because of their sauce, I think if they improve the sauce I could become addicted to their Sweet and Sour Fish Fillet. The fish comes in big serving, enough to satisfy your cravings, with pineapples to add flavor. It is still a delicious meal although it could be better. =D

Wai Ying : Asado Chong Fan

Where to Buy : Wai Ying Restaurant
Price : P60

Asado Chong Fan is a total fail, you can only taste the wrapper and the soy sauce, the tiny tiny bits of asado is like left overs from other asado meals. Definitely won't be ordering this again. >_<

Wai Ying : Shrimp Chong Fan

Swimming in Soy Sauce =D
Where to Buy : Wai Ying Restaurant
Price : P60

Shrimp Chong Fan is like Hakaw ( Ha gao ), it is also shrimp wrapped in the same stuff but served in a different way ( swimming in soy sauce ). I think the shrimp here is smaller compared to their Hakaw. If you like eating Hakaw then you will also like eating this. =D

Wai Ying : Hot Salad Roll

Cherry, pineapple and I couldn't identify the other fruits
Where to Buy : Wai Ying Restaurant
Price : P60

Hot, delicious, sweet fruits and deep fried I think? three pieces of hot salad roll will make your day brighter. You could eat this alone or together with rice, a great side dish to be shared with your friends and family. This is served hot so you better let it cool off first before eating it. =D

Wai Ying : Curry Beef Brisket Rice

looks like poop but taste so good! =D

Where to Buy : Wai Ying Restaurant
Price : P110

Wai Ying's Curry Beef Brisket Rice has been my favorite ever since my brother recommended it, at first look you wouldn't even think of touching it ( coz it looks somehow gross, I think it's because of the color ), looks can be deceiving and it proved to be a delicious meal. The beef is soft and has a spicy flavor ( must be the sauce ), mix the sauce with the rice to make it more tasty! =D

Wai Ying : Kebab

Where to Buy  : Wai Ying Chinese Restaurant
Price : P60

Wai Ying's Kebab will make you want to eat here often, this chewy pork balls are a great compliment to their rice meals. It is so delicious especially when you dip it with it's sweet and sour sauce. =D I enjoy chewing this a lot. So instead of ordering the same old siomai, you could try this for a change.

Wai Ying : Ha Gao ( Shrimp Dumpling )

Price: 60 php

When eating in a Chinese restaurant I usually order Ha Gao or sometimes it is called Hakaw, this tiny dumpling with shrimp inside is so tasty. It is usually served with calamansi,  and is a great if paired with other dimsums or fried rice. Not all Chinese restaurant serve this kind of dumpling.
